Czech Film Subtitle Project

Preparation of Czech subtitles for five films: Closely Watched Trains; Fireman\`s Ball; All Good Fellow Countrymen: Kolja; and Cinderella and the Three Magic Nut. The project director was visiting from the Charles University in Prague and is no longer at Princeton.

Development of digitally recorded dialoguesand phonetic exercises to accompany the textbook When in Russia.

A Musical Tour of the Arab World

A Web-based musical tour of the Arab world illustrating the wealth and diversity of regional dialects. Ten musical selections will be accompanied by transcriptions, translations, and notes highlighting dialectal differences and demonstarting the relation between colloquialisms and Modern Standard Arabic.

German CD-ROM Project
