The Consortium sponsors periodic workshops, colloquia, and other events; some of these are open to all interested individuals, while others are restricted to invited participants only. Language departments and centers at member institutions also organize events – lectures, foreign film series, professional development workshops, symposia – of interest to language educators and others. "The Director's Desktop" provides the Executive Director a space to highlight current or future activities within the Consortium as well as select items of interest to the language teaching community at large.
